Here's some examles we wrote in class:

If i had one million euros

M:I could sleep all day

C:I could play video games and handball all day.

M:I should help the world

C:I should earn move money to give to the poor.

M:I would travel around the world

C:I would have a house in Scotland,Canada and Switzerland

Would's root word is "will"

Could's root word is "can" - you can substitute it with "might" or "maybe."

Here are some examples

"I could run a mile in five minutes, but I don't want to right now."

The speaker can actually run the mile, but it's only a possibility.

"I would run a mile in five minutes, if my leg weren't broken."
